Job Summary
Design scalable development processes for hardware, software, and embedded systems while translating engineering, quality, security, and compliance requirements into clear workflows. Establish common process principles across Product Groups and collaborate with tool owners, DevOps, and IT to improve integration, traceability, and automation. Assess process maturity and coordinate changes driven by new technologies, organizational developments, or regulatory requirements, including the use of AI. Work onsite with 10 home office days per month. This senior expert role with lateral leadership responsibility shapes how products are developed across B&R R&D to help industries run leaner and cleaner.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, automation, mechatronics, systems engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in hardware, software, embedded-system or complex product development
- Ability to understand complex technical and organizational dependencies and translate them into pragmatic solutions
- Ability to build alignment and drive implementation without relying on formal authority
- Fluent German and English skills

- Experience in designing, implementing or improving development processes across multiple teams or organizational units
- Knowledge of engineering toolchains
