Job Summary
Set up, repair, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, including plastic injection molding, thermoforming, and extrusion lines. Make mold changes, process adjustments, and color changes while monitoring automation to ensure quality production. Collect and inspect random shots using specifications to determine part disposition and process product according to Quality and Development team standards. Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic issues, coordinate preventative maintenance, and implement lean metrics for continuous improvement. Complete required paperwork and perform administrative tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Previous experience with Plastic Injection Molding, Thermoforming, and/or Plastic Extrusion
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate the ability to critical think and problem solve with relation to mechanical and production challenges
- Ability to work in a team-oriented work environment
- Must adhere to all safety guidelines and foster a safe work culture
- Must be able to accurately complete paperwork as needed
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma and/or GED equivalent
