Job Summary
Operate and tune molding machines, perform process set-up to predefined conditions, maintain parameters within validated windows, and ensure safe, compliant production of injection-molded parts. Collaborate with QC to resolve non-conforming product challenges, report cycle-time changes to scheduling, and maintain housekeeping of machines and work area. Communicate technical issues with team supervisor, participate in training programs, and apply GMP/industry best practices to minimize scrap and optimize cycle times. Knowledge of various molding machines, robots, mold concepts (cold and hot runner systems, multi-plate molds, hydraulic cores, slides, valve gates), and processing different resins; experience with SIM, RJG, or Paulson methodologies is desired.
