Job Summary
Conduct part loading, fixturing, and unloading while preparing and applying primer, topcoat, and sealant to aircraft components. Perform masking, sanding, cleaning, final paint touch-ups, and ink stamping on flight controls and detail parts. Mix and apply sealant to bushings and components, then maintain booth and equipment. Execute work from set-up sheets, manufacturing sheets, and drawings while documenting actions in quality logs and creating Product Defect Sheets for discrepancies. Support continuous improvement, 5S activities, and Standard Work Development in the cell, multi-tasking to perform assigned duties including TPM and machine checklists. Work weekday nights from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. at the Oakville facility, reporting to the Night Shift Assembly Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Minimum of 2 years of current painting or sealant experience
- Experience in material handling and crane/hoist operations
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP
- Weekday Night (Monday-Thursday) 8:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. shift availability
