Process Technician Nights

Job Summary
Monitor and maintain standard cycle times and part quality while operating computer-controlled presses and troubleshooting issues on Injection Molding machines and Robots. Establish new processes, perform mold sets, and execute Robot Programming based on settings in Mold Books and QR Codes. Identify resins used in molding operations, including regrind, and communicate specifications from job packets regarding routing, B.O.M.'s, scrap reports, and quality requirements. Demonstrate knowledge of hot runner systems, Valve Gates, and standard sprue molds. Work a fixed 2/2/3 schedule with four 12-hour shifts, reporting to the Production Manager at American Plastics in Kingman, AZ.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Eligible to work in the United States of America
- Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen & Authorize Background Check
- Must be able to work a 12-Hour Shift
- Knowledge of operating the following Injection molding machines a must, such as: Engel, Milacron, Battenfeld, UBE and HPM's
- Applicant must have 2 plus years' experience as a process tech in injection molding or similar process
- Follow departmental documentation procedures

- Knowledge with Wittman and Servpro Robots preferred
- Organized, detail oriented, team player with a sense of urgency
- Resourceful, with ability to apply critical problem-solving skills
- Effective Communication Skills
- 5S and Lock Out Tag Out experience preferred
