Job Summary
Process Technician role performing testing, checkout and troubleshooting from schematics/diagrams/descriptions, with responsibility for assisting in methods to remedy malfunctions and supporting design/construction/test/assembly of components. Requires evaluating layouts and plans, operating manufacturing/test equipment (including oscilloscopes and signal generators), and collaborating with engineering to modify or fabricate components. Emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to procedures; offers opportunities for growth and Lean Six Sigma development. The position involves working from defined plans to ensure quality results, with responsibilities including testing, checkout, troubleshooting, and assisting engineers in design/construction and modification of components, plus strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or two-year technical/trade degree or equivalent preferred
- Five to seven years of experience
- Proficient in MS Office
- Analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with CAD
- High attention to detail
