Job Summary
Set up, repair, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, ancillary equipment, and support equipment within the Plastic Injection Molding, Thermoforming, and/or Plastic Extrusion processes. Make required mold changes, process adjustments, and color changes while monitoring automation to ensure quality production. Collect and inspect random shots against specifications to determine part disposition, and perform preventative maintenance in coordination with the maintenance team. Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic issues, partnering with maintenance as needed. Promote continuous quality improvement and lean metrics while adhering to safety guidelines and company policies. High school diploma preferred; previous manufacturing experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Previous experience with Plastic Injection Molding, Thermoforming, and/or Plastic Extrusion
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate the ability to critical think and problem solve with relation to mechanical and production challenges
- Ability to work in a team-oriented work environment
- Must adhere to all safety guidelines and foster a safe work culture
- Must be able to accurately complete paperwork as needed
