Job Summary
Operate anodize and metal finishing lines on aerospace components, managing bath chemistry and process parameters to meet MIL-SPEC/AMS specifications; perform in-process checks and document all steps to ensure traceability; collaborate with Quality and Engineering to resolve issues and support NADCAP-related activities; requires 3+ years in chemical processing and a strong understanding of anodize, chem film, and passivation processes; growth opportunities within a NADCAP-accredited environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen (required for aerospace compliance).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in chemical processing, metal finishing, or electroplating.
- Working knowledge of anodize, electroplating, or equivalent electrolytic/chemical processing operations.
- Ability to read and follow process specifications, work orders, and job travelers.
- Basic chemistry knowledge: solution concentration, titration, pH, and chemical safety.
- Chemical processing SME able to advise on process and fixture design.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods in a chemical processing environment.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
