Job Summary
Process Technician II on Third Shift who owns the injection molding process in their assigned area, performs mold set-ups/start-ups, ensures high machine output and utilization, monitors part quality, cycle time, and weights, troubleshoots processing issues, documents test results, trains others on setup/start-up procedures, leads improvement efforts, and maintains safety and cleanliness in the department while aligning with Cambro culture and goals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 to 4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- advanced level processing/troubleshooting skills
- ability to develop, optimize and document run parameters
- ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- ability to solve practical processing related problems with limited standardization
- excellent knowledge of the injection molding process, materials, molds, and machinery
- demonstrated ability to lead a group of people to accomplish a goal
- authorization to work in the U.S. with no sponsorship
- ability to work overtime as needed
