Job Summary
Operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment according to standard operating procedures while performing routine inspections and quality checks. Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues, and maintain accurate production records including output, downtime, and maintenance activity. Assist in establishing ERP system parameters, analyze production data to improve efficiency, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to implement process improvements and participate in root cause investigations. Follow all safety protocols, maintain a clean work environment, and use required PPE. This role requires overtime and up to 20% travel for short-term assignments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2–5 years of experience in machine building, automation assembly, or manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Experience troubleshooting equipment and supporting production processes
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production software
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and enter basic production or ERP data
- Strong troubleshooting ability and manual dexterity
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
