Job Summary
Set up and start production processes, including press operation and robot programming, while loading and managing robot programs to ensure optimal machine performance. Monitor and troubleshoot production jobs to minimize downtime, perform mold setups and develop setup instructions, and conduct scientific molding studies with the Process Engineer. Support continuous improvement initiatives with engineering and tooling teams while adhering to safety procedures, standard operating procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices. Work 12-hour rotating shifts (1st or 3rd shift) on a 2/2/3 schedule. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a technical degree and 5–7 years of experience in plastics injection molding preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 5–7 years of relevant experience or equivalent hands-on training
- Completion of Set-Up Technician onboarding/training programs
- Experience with plastics injection molding
