Job Summary
Operate process equipment using control systems, extract and crystallize sugar from beets, and perform pilot lab sampling. Conduct mechanical inspections, troubleshoot operational and electrical issues, and coordinate with supervisors to configure production equipment for quality standards. Execute general labor, cleaning activities, and manual tasks while complying with Good Manufacturing Practices and safety requirements. Submit to a safety screen and wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Full-time 12-hour rotating day and night shifts required. Proficiency in multiple functional areas is developed through the Process Technician Specialized Training Program.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or a GED certificate
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to use standard tools
- Demonstrated ability to use basic computer skills
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds individually
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to stand
- Ability to bend
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to reach
- Ability to twist
- Ability to squat/crouch/kneel
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders
- Ability to balance
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment

Desired Qualifications
