Job Summary

Process Technician responsible for removing and mounting tooling, observing molding operations, and adjusting control settings to achieve production rate and quality targets. Provides supervision, motivation, and work direction to the department; staffs and maintains a qualified team to meet production objectives. Coaches employees to work effectively in teams, assigns work, and provides technical assistance to meet production schedules and inventory requirements. Organizes interactions with molding, ensuring machines, tools, and facilities are available to meet production needs; conducts daily production reviews against goals; leads teams on special projects; reports efficiency and efficiency loss (EFF/MEF) as required. Oversees safety, quality, GMP compliance, and a safe work environment; conducts required safety reviews prior to project start-up; supports work-group performance through timely data reporting and performance tracking; ensures adherence to procedures, performs self-checking, and communicates issues to management with recommendations for improvement. Maintains overall environment to maximize effectiveness and safety, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives. Collects and supplies accurate data for performance tracking, and coordinates resources to ensure projects are completed successfully.
