Job Summary
Process technican responsibilities include establishing and maintaining statistical process control, yield and scrap cost tracking to improve the process flow; develop yield improvements and troubleshoot existing procedures; enable and document improved processes; perform failure mode analysis for the subdivision and complete analyses in a timely fashion; this role requires proficiency in Excel/Word/PPT, English comprehension, statistical analysis tools, data and failure analysis, and understanding mechanical drawings for jigs/fixtures, with a culture aligned to ICARE values at Coherent Corp.; location is Shenzhen, Guangdong, China.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use Excel, Word and PPT
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English
- Ability to apply statistical analysis tools (distribution charts, histograms, SPC, trending)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written English
- Solid skills in product failure analysis and data analysis
- Understand mechanical drawing and basic design for jigs/fixtures
- Train technician to improve work skill
