Job Summary
Finishing Process Technician I at CTS will work under the Finishing Process Engineering group to support HPZT, Hydrophone, and DFS finishing areas. Responsibilities include performing final tests, inputting data into control charts for finished material qualifications, updating standard work instructions, and supporting training activities. The role requires following safety/quality procedures, learning to use 3D printers, collecting and reporting data, maintaining work instructions, ensuring regular housekeeping, and collaborating with others to complete projects; related duties as directed by management. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent (1-year related experience considered in lieu of education) with 3 years in a finishing/operator role preferred; foundational metrology knowledge (OGP, micrometers, calipers), basic computer skills, ability to work independently or in a team, and strong communication skills. Knowledge of SPC or 3D tools is a plus; ability to read and interpret safety and operating instructions; willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with PPE and lifting requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent; 1-year related experience acceptable in lieu of education; 3 years direct experience in finishing operator or high-volume manufacturing preferred; experience with HPZT, Hydrophone and DFS finishing areas; basic computer skills; English proficiency; ability to work independently or in a team; ability to read and interpret safety and operating instructions; experience with metrology tools (OGP, micrometers, calipers) is a plus; ability to analyze data and troubleshoot; willingness to move/stand for extended periods; PPE usage.
