Job Summary
Establish new processes, improve current operations, and support competency across hand assembly, hermetic sealing, environmental screening, wedge and ball bonding, and plasma cleaning technologies. Conduct bond pull/shear testing, rework, and root-cause corrective actions while collaborating with engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain functions. Become proficient in both automated and manual equipment to ensure goals are met for complex hybrid microelectronics manufacturing. This hands-on, fully in-office role supports 1st shift operations Monday-Friday 7 AM - 3 PM and requires a U.S. citizen with a security clearance. The position offers a salary range of $75,200 to $103,400 and includes a discretionary performance-based bonus, medical, vision, and dental coverage, 401k, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- BS/MS in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or related technical discipline
- 3+ years' experience in electronics manufacturing including technologies such as manual and automated semiconductor module assembly, wirebonding, die attach, hermetic sealing, lead forming, and surface mount technologies
- Ability and willingness to apply for clearance
- Good hand-eye coordination for work under a microscope
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Minitab statistical software, and AutoCAD or related modeling software
- Yes, 10% of the time (Travel)
- Security Clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of MIL-STD-883, MIL-PRF-38534, and other associated standards
- Prior experience working in a highly controlled medical or defense manufacturing area
