Job Summary
Oversee daily yard and rail operations, including trailer movement, dock flow, and accurate inventory tracking. Conduct routine safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, EHS standards, and CTPAT security protocols. Monitor staffing levels, enforce PPE requirements, and lead corrective actions for identified safety or operational concerns. Support site readiness for internal and external audits while maintaining secure facility access. Work flexible schedules including weekends and off-shifts to support high-volume operations in Morris, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in warehouse, yard, logistics, or manufacturing operations
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, workplace safety standards, and compliance regulations
- Experience conducting safety training and compliance audits
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume operational environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and off-shifts as operationally required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems
