Process Senior Engineer

Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for a wide variety of process engineering activities and would assist the lead process engineer to meet project schedule and quality requirements. Responsibilities include developing Process Design Basis and Design Philosophies; conducting/process simulations and guiding others in simulations to develop Heat & Mass Balance; creating and reviewing PFDs, PSFDs, P&IDs, C&EDs, Safe charts; performing routine process calculations and using process software and in-house spreadsheets; designing process control configurations and ESD systems; equipment design including separators, pumps, compressors, gas treatment units, fired heaters, heat exchangers, and related water, steam, air, nitrogen, fuel gas/oil, and utility systems; developing steam balance, compressor hydraulics, and relief valve/flare load calculations; developing utilities balance and UFD; understanding offsites like tank farms, boilers and power generation; adhering to international standards, codes and procedures; coordinating planning, scheduling and cross-department collaboration; evaluating vendor/consultant/licensor offers and performing technical bid analyses; familiarity with safety studies like HAZOP, HAZID, and SIL; prior experience with pre-commissioning/commissioning/operations is an added advantage; willingness to travel for work within KBR offices.
