Process Room Operator - 2nd/3rd shift

Job Summary
Operate all process room equipment at an efficient level to fulfill production needs while verifying quality control items such as weights, fats, pH, and ingredients. C.I.P. all equipment throughout the department and maintain proper documentation in all record keeping formats. Ensure proper temperature and cooling for processing, perform minor maintenance and equipment adjustments, and relieve the margarine system as needed. Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping throughout the plant as assigned. Adhere to applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices, including obtaining HACCP certification and a Pasteurizer License. Work the 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Monday through Friday shift and the 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM rotation every third Saturday.
Required Qualifications
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding environment
- Ability to identify and communicate process and equipment deficiencies as they arise
- Must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency
- Demonstrate an understanding of the products manufactured and the processes involved
- Ability to read and comprehend standard operating procedures and company guidelines in order to maintain regulatory compliance
- Able to understand daily production needs
- Demonstrate the Qualified Individual's responsibilities for Preventative Controls
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Must obtain HACCP certification
- Must obtain a Pasteurizer License
Desired Qualifications
- One year internal or equivalent external experience preferred
