Process Quality Technician(internal employee only)

Job Summary
Conduct test protocols to ensure products meet specified requirements and customer expectations while ensuring data availability per ABB QO guidelines. Evaluate quantitative metrics for compliance determination and improve existing test protocols for greater efficiency and reliability. Train operators and assemblers in basic quality test routines to support quality-at-source processes. Utilize safety systems to maintain an accident-free workplace and notify others of unsafe situations. Work with local HSE teams to improve safety systems. Requires work authorization for the US, Microsoft Office proficiency, and preferred experience in manufacturing electrical products or quality control.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Electronic/Electrical/Engineering Technology Certification
- Work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (PP, Word, Excel)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in manufacturing electrical products
- Ability to conceptualize steps required with large data to achieve a certain outcome/result
- Experience working as quality control technician or related fields
- Basic knowledge of MINITAB software or equivalent statistic software tool
- Previous experience in first article inspection validation
