Process Quality Manager

Job Summary
Process Quality Manager leads the process quality organization for series production, defines and implements a roadmap to achieve quality KPIs, drives systematic problem solving to eliminate scraps, manages audits (process/product/system), leads change management, PPAP packaging and customer releases, oversees risk management, SPC and MSA implementation, ensures system adherence (Safe Launch, control plans, reverse PFMEA, product requalification, manufacturing process control, Jidoka), and drives customer-centric quality improvements including handling customer complaints and closing observations with 8D problem solving. The role requires leadership of the process quality team, ensuring adherence to quality standards and delivering improvements through data-driven decision making and robust quality management systems in an automotive manufacturing context.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Technical academic studies or comparable education
- Professional experience: 12+ years of experience in manufacturing function, quality function experience is preferred
- Technical skills: automotive core tools – advanced, IATF16949 – Advanced, VDA 6.3 Advanced, VDA 6.5 Advanced, APQP – Advanced, AIAG automotive requirements – Advanced, Quality analysis tools;Statistical tools – Advanced
