Process Quality Engineer

Job Summary
Drive process improvements, conduct root cause analysis for production issues, and implement corrective actions to optimize performance and reduce waste. Manage process validations, equipment installations, and manufacturing method enhancements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives to improve throughput. Collaborate with the Quality Department to enhance systems, apply Lean and Six Sigma tools to resolve customer complaints, and lead initiatives to improve test methods and inspection efficiency. In the final rotation, lead a production department, oversee daily operations and safety, develop schedules to meet customer demand, and analyze capacity models to optimize staffing and throughput. This immersive rotational program spans up to 24 months, offering exposure to Operations, Quality, and Production Planning or Supervision roles to prepare candidates for non-rotational positions within Filtration Group's global filtration industry.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Basic understanding of manufacturing and quality systems in production environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact across all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, influence stakeholders, and drive results beyond individual contributor responsibilities
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing and quality systems in production environments
- Foundational knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, SPC, Six Sigma, and team-based problem-solving
