Job Summary
Monitor equipment throughout the shift to ensure optimal functionality while adhering to all workplace safety procedures and product quality guidelines. Operate area-specific equipment including bag products, carbon sampling and testing, filter presses, and wastewater treatment plants. Perform physical tasks such as sorting bottles, handling deliveries, and operating forklifts for materials movement and truck loading/unloading. Read and follow required processes accurately to contribute to divisional results and address customer needs. Complete site-specific safety training and demonstrate competency in following instructions and basic math skills. This entry-level role requires significant physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly, bending, and standing for extended periods in a fast-paced plant environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of site-specific safety training
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Competency in following and reading instructions
- Basic math skills
- Experience in manufacturing or plant operations
- Forklift driving skills
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday
