Job Summary
Operate and maintain process equipment and systems in a surface mine plant, following standard procedures and supervisor instructions. Troubleshoot operational problems, perform repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance. Monitor and record production data, perform visual inspections, and demonstrate competency with fixed and mobile equipment. Maintain a focus on safety and environmental stewardship while seeking continuous improvements to work practices and processes. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, willingness to work long shifts (12.5 hours), ability to lift up to 25 pounds, strong English communication, and ability to wear PPE; pre-employment and random drug testing are required. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in industrial operations or water treatment beneficial
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Physical ability to stand, sit, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to work in a surface mine plant setting with exposure to various environmental conditions
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
- Must pass pre-employment and ongoing random drug testing
