Job Summary
Process Operator II on 2nd shift (part-time) at McKee Foods in Collegedale, TN. Responsibilities include monitoring production processes, performing quality checks, troubleshooting equipment, and operating bake-line equipment (brew, dough, forming, proofing, frying, glazing). Maintain accurate inventory and documentation of lot numbers, ensure food safety and product purity, and adhere to safety regulations. Works with the team to keep the line running smoothly, trains/mentors others on equipment and line operating functions, and participates in problem solving and continuous improvement activities. Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 4:00 PM–8:00 PM; location: Plant 5, Collegetdale area. Requires ability to lift 50-100 lbs, wear steel-toed shoes, basic computer skills, and willingness to perform tasks as needed. Pay is $23.25 per hour plus $1.00 shift premium for 2nd shift.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain a LTO license
- Willingness to be flexible and perform tasks as needed
- Basic math skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and be organized
- Minor equipment maintenance
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to frequently lift and move 50-100 lbs
- Steel-toed safety shoes
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and work with management, co-workers and other departments
- Demonstrated ability to work over or come in early to set-up or shut down the line
- Demonstrated ability to train and develop others on equipment and line operating functions
- Attend mandatory tiered meetings
- Following standard work
- Participating in team lead problem solving activities
- Managing daily improvement boards
