Job Summary
Receive instructions from the Production Supervisor on product, bag, and silo utilization, then warehouse finished product for shipments. Operate and monitor packaging systems, including manual bagging and supersack filling stations, while keeping bag weights within specification. Inspect flatbeds and van trucks before loading, and stencils product with customer information as required. Maintains accurate records and sends packaging samples to the lab. Assists in unloading and storing raw material, and performs other duties as assigned. Requires one year of manufacturing experience, forklift certification, and the ability to lift 55 lb. bags daily. Located at the Marble Falls, TX plant for 1st shift (Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) year experience working in a manufacturing, production or construction environment
- Forklift trained and certified
- Ability to lift and handle an average of 55 lb. bags in repetitive motion on a daily basis, an average of 40 hours per week. During high demand periods may be required to work 10 to 12 hours per day up to 6 days per calendar week.
- Ability to read and comprehend safety policy manuals, SOP's, MSDS, and various production schedules/reports.
- Knowledgeable of ISO quality system
