Job Summary
Manufacture agarose resin products in line with ISO9001 and pharmaceutical quality standards, ensuring right-first-time batch production. Operate and monitor automated and semi-automated processes and equipment, responding to process conditions to maintain product quality. Follow approved risk assessments, work instructions, SOPs and batch records, with no deviation from defined process steps. Identify and escalate process, safety or quality issues immediately to prevent impact on product or operations. Maintain high standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and in-process testing in a controlled manufacturing environment. Work strictly within site Health & Safety standards, including safe handling of hazardous chemicals and full adherence to PPE requirements. Support shift team performance through clear communication and structured handovers.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in a production environment
- Able to manually handle raw materials, products and equipment up to 25 kg
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer competency
- Access to own transport
- Experience working with lab equipment
- Experience working with hazardous chemicals
- Practical understanding of chemistry
- Production experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical, laboratory or food environment
