Process Operator - Day Shift

Job Summary
Operate chemical processes by adjusting variables such as temperature, pressure, feed rate, and sampling in accordance with SOPs. Monitor chemical treatment machines, flow meters, and panel boards to ensure machinery operates correctly, while taking chemical samples and performing tests to verify process progression. Respond to warning signals and alarms by taking necessary precautions, and regulate or turn off machines during emergency situations. Maintain housekeeping, comply with safety and regulatory programs (RCRA, Title V, OSHA), and complete daily inspections, vessel batch logs, and PRISM tasks as assigned. Troubleshoot production equipment issues and communicate compliance or equipment needs to the shift supervisor. Work a 2-2-3 schedule from 6 AM to 6:30 PM with every other weekend off.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Must have communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
