Job Summary
Operate computer-controlled process equipment and the cooker, monitor temperatures, evaporation rates, and material flow from raw material bin to finished goods storage. Perform product quality testing and ensure adherence to safety and food safety programs. Manage control panels and gauges, oversee pollution and odor control systems, and assist with boiler startup and operation. Conduct periodic preventative maintenance, rapidly communicate process or equipment issues to the supervisor, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Ability to work nights and/or weekends, collaborate effectively in a team, and travel to offsite locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred
