Job Summary

Run, operate, and maintain the Bottlepack blow/fill and seal plastic machines while adjusting settings within validated parameters to ensure optimum line performance. Perform daily and weekly cleaning of equipment and the area, conduct maintenance checks, and troubleshoot faults to overcome manufacturing process issues. Identify quality defects, reject non-conforming items, and escalate concerns to the team leader. Support rectification efforts and actively participate in improvement programs. Follow EHS/GMP/GDP policies and complete batch paperwork accurately. Rotate shifts Monday through Sunday between 06:00-18:00 or 18:00-06:00 for 42 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience of working in a GMP environment (pharma, food, FMCG)
  • Proven experience in operating manufacturing or processing equipment in a production environment
  • Machine minder experience with a strong understanding of equipment performance and controls
  • Awareness and experience of batch processing, including start-up and shutdown activities in line with procedural requirements
  • Basic technical knowledge with the ability to support machine set-up and carry out troubleshooting activities where required
  • Experience in machine adjustments and problem-solving
  • Good standard of English comprehension
  • Must be available for rotating shifts, Monday-Sunday between 06:00-18:00/18:00-06:00 which is 42 hours per week
  • This could look like 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 nights on, 3 nights off etc

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in machine adjustments and problem-solving is advantageous
  • Troubleshooting capability is highly desirable, particularly where supported by strong technical knowledge and understanding of equipment performance
  • Quality focused – able to deal with routine, repetitive tasks whilst maintaining good attention to detail
  • Team Working - working as part of a team & sharing workload fairly with a willingness to work cooperatively and offer support in order to solve problems and achieve team targets
  • Flexible - able to carry out varied tasks often at short notice, adjust break timings around the production, work additional hours and adjust working hours as required by the business
  • Ability to remain calm in a fast paced environment
  • Punctuality is key as well as strong attendance
