Job Summary
Operate production machinery and assemble high-quality packaging in line with customer order specifications while maintaining strict health and safety regulations. Contribute to site profitability by minimizing waste and machine downtime, and ensure optimal housekeeping to increase productivity. Perform quality checks on products, participate in continuous improvement projects, and adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment. Work a flexible 37.5-hour shift rotation across day, back, and night shifts, requiring physical fitness for repetitive heavy lifting.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working within a production/manufacturing environment
- Ability to work a flexible shift pattern
- Knowledgeable in basic computer skills
- Able to work to exact standards with good attention to detail
- Knowledgeable in methodologies to optimise efficiency
- Good standard of secondary education
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience of working within a fast-paced production environment, ideally in packaging
