Job Summary
Mechanical/Process Equipment Installer for MGC Contractors in the Phoenix, AZ area. Responsibilities include reviewing blueprints/specifications, laying out large and small diameter mechanical piping and equipment (Clarifier, Filters, Chemical Rooms, Aeration Basin System, Influent Fine Screens, Pumps), monitoring safety on-site, assisting the Project Superintendent with labor monitoring, understanding equipment installation, alignment, and anchoring, crane rigging and signaling, knowledge of PVC/Steel/SST/DIP piping, and operation of forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift; physical duties on construction sites and willingness to work outdoors in various weather; pre-employment drug screening required. This is a full-time role with possible overtime/weekend work.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least Five (5) years of experience installing piping and equipment on multi-functional water/wastewater projects required.
