Job Summary
Process Manager role leading a team of engineers and technicians to optimize manufacturing processes, drive continuous improvement, manage material usage and costs, evaluate new materials and methods to enhance process performance and product quality, train staff, and collaborate with production, quality, and other departments to resolve process-related issues while upholding health, safety, and quality standards. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5+ years of process experience with supervisory responsibility, plus strong leadership, Lean/CI experience, and knowledge of polyurethane foam processing and urethane chemistry.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of process experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams
- Deep understanding of process equipment (controls, metering, mixing, etc.)
- Expertise in polyurethane foam formulation and processing
- Strong knowledge of urethane chemistry
- Experience in project coordination and supervision
- Proven ability to troubleshoot process and equipment issues effectively
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of HS&E policies, practices, and regulatory requirements
- Experience in implementing new programs (AQP, VAVE, quality)
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S, and Kaizen principles
