Process Maintenance Technician I - Packaging (Day Shift)

Job Summary
Identify potential issues and support improvement of reliability of systems and equipment to minimize downtime for the designated packaging process. Actively participate in Event Response, perform corrective and preventative maintenance, and operate, monitor, and control assigned equipment and systems. Restore function to equipment in an effective and technically correct manner while recording and reviewing production data in Batch Production Records. Assist in the operation of the assigned process, support reliability improvement projects, and implement system enhancements. Follow all safety and environmental requirements throughout duties. This role is part of Fill & Finish Expansions, a growing area within Product Supply responsible for designing and building new aseptic filling capacity to serve millions of patients globally.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance or relevant field
- High School diploma (or GED) with minimum of two (2) years of equipment maintenance experience
- Preference in pharmaceutical manufacturing or related industry
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledgeable in the following systems: Compressed Air, Electro-Mechanical controls, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation and/or robotics
- Ability & experience with automated records systems such as SAP, schematics, wiring diagrams & other technical documents
- Computer literacy
- Support planning & execution of process functions & assist in coordination of planned & corrective maintenance activities
