Process Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on purified water systems, plant utilities, and liquid blending process equipment while troubleshooting issues to minimize unscheduled downtime. Ensure compliance with cGMP, regulatory requirements, and safety regulations through detailed documentation, safety inspections, and lock-out/tag-out procedures. Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks, coordinate with departments, and lead troubleshooting efforts to optimize system performance and improve MTBF. Requires 3–6 years of industrial maintenance experience, proficiency in electrical and process controls, and flexibility for 2nd shift hours (2:30pm–11:00pm) with on-call availability for emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Technical or Trade School Graduate, Associate Degree in electro-mechanics preferred, or equivalent on the job experience
- 3 – 6 years of experience in Industrial Equipment Troubleshooting and Maintenance
- Basic knowledge of Purified Water Systems
- Basic knowledge of Preventive Maintenance Principles
- Good knowledge of process equipment, photo sensors, solenoids, relays, electric motors, air mixers, pumps and pneumatics, liquids process flow, fundamentals of basic electricity and controls
- PC skills (word, power point, excel)
- Good understanding of cGMP, Lock-out/Tag-out, PPE requirements, Safety practices, basic understanding of Hazardous Materials and learn to interpret Safety Data Sheets
- Qualify to wear a respirator and fall and hazardous prevention equipment
- Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs. as needed for system maintenance and troubleshooting
- Willing to learn systems and processes, be flexible and work extended shifts and overtime when required, including nights weekends and holidays
- On-call availability may be required for emergency response, troubleshooting, and critical maintenance needs
- Occasional weekend and holiday work may be necessary during system upgrades, shutdowns, or regulatory inspections
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored visa sponsorship
- This role is for 2nd Shift (Mon - Fri, 2:30pm-11:00pm)

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
- Associate Degree in electro-mechanics preferred
