Process Line Lead (Debone)

Job Summary
Lead resources to safely setup, operate, and maintain Debone lines while executing required housekeeping in evisceration or controlled stunning areas. Apply knowledge of evisceration processes to troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment operation with a safety-first mindset. Ensure compliance with GMP, Safety, and USDA guidelines to achieve top quality in a safe work environment. Cross-train others, improve processes, and work directly with the supervisor on employee performance and feedback. Perform other assigned duties as directed. Maintain a detailed-oriented, self-directed approach in a fast-paced environment while lifting up to 40 lbs. and working in hot, cold, wet conditions with distinct odors. Schedule Tuesday through Friday day shift with flexibility for early/late shifts, overtime, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Min. of 2 years of work experience in food processing or manufacturing environment
- Experience in a lead operator position
- Working knowledge in poultry or other food processing industry
- Solid understanding of food safety compliance
- Detailed-oriented
- Self-directed
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment

- Lift/move up to 40 lbs.
- Occasionally lift/move 50 lbs.
- Stand up to 12 hrs./day

- Climb up to 12 hrs./day
- Stoop up to 12 hrs./day
- Work safely in hot, cold, wet environment w/ a distinct odor and varying temperatures (e.g., 35-40 / 100 degrees)
- Exercise strong hand-eye coordination in handling internal / external whole & parts of birds
- Primary work schedule of Tuesday - Friday day shift
- Flexibility to work early/late shift
- Flexibility to work overtime
- Flexibility to work weekends
