Job Summary
Lead target definition, deployment, and achievement on business requirements while systematically improving processes to ensure robust, efficient, and defect-free production. Develop and standardize manufacturing processes, leading new product transitions from design to mass production through effective planning and validation. Establish and sustain process capability using PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and MSA, while controlling capital budgets and initiating CIP activities for productivity improvements. Perform layer process audits, conduct root cause analysis with PDCA and FMEA methodologies, and align with central functions on manufacturing standards. Coach team members on personal development, facilitate knowledge transfer, and drive sustainable improvements across the automotive electronics sector.
Required Qualifications
- B.E in Mechanical engineering or Electronics/ EEE or Industrial Engineering
- 8 - 10 years of relevant job experience in electronics and or automotive business sector
- Experience in project management or lead of a team
- Has working knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts, with exposure to AI and Machine Intelligence applications as an added advantage
- Familiar with mechanical design tools such as SolidWorks, providing additional value in process and equipment improvement initiatives

- Proven structured problem-solving methodologies, including deep dive root cause analysis, PDCA, FMEA, and process capability analysis (Cp/Cpk) to drive sustainable improvements
- Operates independently as a process subject matter expert, applying technical judgment to resolve complex issues and consistently delivering results
- Demonstrates strong leadership through coaching and mentoring, building team capability and ensuring effective knowledge transfer across functions
- Lead the successful transition of new products from design to mass production through effective process planning, validation, and ramp-up
- Establish and sustain process capability through PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and rigorous validation methodologies
- Develop, standardize, and continuously optimize manufacturing processes to ensure robust, efficient, and defect-free production
- Participate in seminars/ conferences / key visit to demonstrate domain expertise
- Facilitates sharing of experiences and 'lessons learned' within the team to break new grounds
- Institutionalizes systems and processes to enable the business to be constantly connected with the customer
- Understands others' ability and potential and recommends learning opportunities accordingly
- Uses learning strategies for continuous personal and professional growth in line with the direction of the organization
- Defines and implements future necessary competencies based on business strategy
- Facilitates open, transparent, and mutually beneficial resolution of conflicts across the business through creation of win-win solutions
