Job Summary
Map and analyze current workflows across sales, engineering, and operations to identify bottlenecks and redundancies. Work with engineering teams to streamline standardized processes and implement automation solutions for repetitive tasks like report generation and data entry. Develop templates and guidelines for proposals and technical documentation while analyzing sales data to identify growth opportunities and competitive insights. Research and recommend process improvement tools and AI platforms, documenting use cases and supporting team training. This role sits within Veolia's Water Tech Business line, focusing on decarbonization and resource regeneration. Candidates must be enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Engineering or Data Science with three years completed, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate proficiency with AI tools like ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering, Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Data Science, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years completed
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and develop practical solutions
- Proven experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms for real-world tasks
- Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to create clear, professional business documents
- Data analysis capabilities - comfortable with Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools to analyze trends and create visualizations
- Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and explain recommendations to diverse audiences
- Candidates must be immediately eligible to work legally in Canada
