Process Improvement Technician - SW Small Pack Lines

Job Summary
Facilitate process optimization initiatives by partnering with operations teams to execute Lean Manufacturing projects, including 5S, Standard Work, and Kaizen events. Provide on-floor technical support for daily production challenges, analyze process variables, and lead root cause investigations to reduce downtime and stabilize performance. Coordinate plant trials for new product introductions, scaling processes from pilot to full production while ensuring quality and efficiency standards. Develop and optimize standard operating procedures to support operator training and reinforce safe, standardized work practices. Maintain production data to track key performance indicators and drive focused improvements in cost, quality, and delivery. Assist with capital equipment installations, training, and process integration during start-up phases. Support food safety and quality standards through active participation in audits and preventive actions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must have close vision and ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to occasionally be exposed to cold working conditions and/or moving mechanical parts
- Must be able to occasionally be exposed to moderate noise level while in the plant
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience leading project teams
- Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC), Lean Manufacturing, and 6 Sigma
- Converting experience
