Process Improvement Technician - EM Wedge Focus

Job Summary
Facilitate process trials, optimize workflows, and lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives including 5S, Standard Work, and Kaizen events to reduce waste and improve line efficiency. Provide on-floor technical support for daily production challenges by analyzing process variables, conducting root cause investigations, and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime. Coordinate new product introductions with cross-functional teams to scale processes from pilot to full production while maintaining quality and efficiency standards. Maintain production data to track key performance indicators and contribute to the development of standard operating procedures for consistent equipment operation. Support capital equipment installations by assisting with training and process integration during start-up phases. This role trains at the Sartori Whey Facility before being based at the East Main Facility in Plymouth, WI, working Monday through Friday with flexible hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must occasionally stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must have close vision and ability to adjust focus
- Must be occasionally exposed to cold working conditions and/or moving mechanical parts
- Must be able to sit
- Must use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Must talk or hear
- Must be available for occasional travel (estimated 5%)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience leading project teams
- Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC), Lean Manufacturing, and 6 Sigma
- Converting experience
