Job Summary
Map current state and analyze data for engine module disassembly and assembly operations to identify process improvement opportunities. Implement practical solutions including ergonomics, mistake-proofing, cycle-time reduction, and visual management to enhance Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives. Observe first-hand shop operations to help engineers adopt FLIGHT DECK fundamentals while supporting cross-functional initiatives in problem solving and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic proficiency in standard office productivity software
- Hands-on mindset and comfort working in a manufacturing shop/operations environment (with appropriate safety training)

- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Exposure to Lean, continuous improvement, quality, or process improvement concepts
