Job Summary
The Process Improvement Engineer role focuses on driving continuous process improvement initiatives in a manufacturing setting using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality. Key duties include leading process improvement projects, applying statistical thinking to identify root causes, utilizing tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, poka-yoke, and Lean/Six Sigma frameworks, developing and implementing optimized workflows, conducting cost-benefit analyses, collaborating with management and cross-functional teams, and training resources in process improvement techniques to achieve operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering or similar from a four-year college or university
- 3 – 5 years of experience in manufacturing
