Job Summary
Operate the Processor and Filler on a specific line while checking systems, verifying equipment hookups, and sterilizing units as required. Monitor and report all data on charts and logs, maintain accurate records of line activity and production events, and perform quality tests and package integrity checks on products. Pull samples as needed, assist other operators and line personnel, and ensure good housekeeping in filler and process areas. Adhere to State and Company procedures, including CIP systems and tank maintenance, while handling chemicals and passing the State Food Processing exam. Work the 2nd shift from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to abide by The AFP Mission Statement dealing with customers, quality, innovation, integrity and ethics values
- Must be able to value people, teamwork, safety, excellence, and have pride and dignity for work performed
- Must be able to perform CIP of processing equipment
- Must possess an aptitude for aseptic processing and be able to operate related equipment
- Must posses mechanical and mathematical aptitude
- Must be capable of passing State Food Processing exam
- Must be able to handle chemicals and CIP
- Must abide by company rules
- Must be able to communicate clearly both orally and written form
- 2nd shift 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
