Job Summary
Operate the Processor and Filler on a specific line, checking systems, equipment, and verifying all hookups. Sterilize system and equipment as required, maintain good housekeeping in filler and process areas, and keep accurate records of line activity and production events. Monitor and report all required data on charts and logs, assist other operators and line personnel, and perform quality tests and package integrity checks on products. Pull samples as required and abide by State and Company procedures per each process operation. Perform CIP of processing equipment and fillers tanks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to abide by The AFP Mission Statement dealing with customers, quality, innovation, integrity and ethics values
- Must be able to value people, teamwork, safety, excellence, and have pride and dignity for work performed
- Must be able to perform CIP of processing equipment
- Must possess an aptitude for aseptic processing and be able to operate related equipment
- Must posses mechanical and mathematical aptitude
- Must be capable of passing State Food Processing exam
- Must be able to handle chemicals and CIP
- Must abide by company rules
- Must be able to communicate clearly both orally and written form
- 3rd shift 10:00 pm - 6:30 am
