Job Summary
Maintain all manufacturing equipment in the assembly area, including ovens, bonders, cleaning equipment, thermoshock chambers, and gap welders. Repair and develop new processes for bonders and Branson cleaning systems, while designing and manufacturing simple assembly fixtures and specialty tools using mills and lathes. Assist and train assemblers on new processes and document assembly drawings. This role reports to the Sr. Manufacturing Manager in Morgan Hill, CA. Candidates must possess strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and experience with hand and power tools. Annual base salary ranges from $97,000 to $120,000.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Occasional lifting of 50 lbs
- Must have a passion for manufacturing equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to problem solve and repair failed equipment
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Experience working with hand and power tools
- Experience working with mill and laths
- Computer skills
- Good problem solving skills on mechanical assemblies
Desired Qualifications
- Some college
- Experience in RF microwave assembly
