Job Summary
Apply engineering principles to develop solutions for the Conventional business unit by providing technical support to senior engineers in Facilities, Production, and Operations teams. Conduct process scoping, equipment sizing, and piping evaluations while preparing and reviewing process deliverables like PFDs and P&IDs. Support process safety initiatives, including safety system design for flares and relief devices, and assist in PHA reviews. Collaborate with area engineers to align goals and priorities. This 8-month term starting May 2027 includes a 5-on/2-off schedule and requires a valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Chemical Engineering or be within one year of your graduation
- Possess a valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license or an equivalent out of province license
- All candidates applying to Canadian Natural must have legal authorization to work in Canada with no restrictions
