Process Engineering Manager

Job Summary
The Process Engineering Manager leads and oversees the process engineering discipline for custom food and beverage processing equipment integrated with automation and control systems. This role ensures process designs meet customer specifications, food safety, and regulatory requirements while driving standardization and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include mentoring the engineering team, validating process designs, overseeing the project lifecycle, and driving process optimization initiatives. Candidates should have a BS in a relevant engineering field, significant experience in food and beverage engineering, and strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
- 10+ years in engineering roles within food & beverage or related industries
- 5+ years in a leadership or management position
- Strong knowledge of process engineering, fluid mechanics, and sanitary design principles
- Excellent Leadership abilities including ability to lead cross functional engineering teams
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Strong problem‐solving abilities in fast‐paced, project‐driven environments
Desired Qualifications
- Experience sizing and specifying food and beverage process equipment
- Understanding of PLC‐based automation and control systems
- Proficiency with CAD software and project management tools
- Knowledge of food safety, regulatory, and sanitary standards
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 15% (Primarily North America with some International)
