Job Summary
Process Engineer responsible for evaluating and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality. Responsibilities include evaluating production and machine requirements, developing and testing automated and manual systems, designing and installing equipment, organizing and managing workflows, integrating disparate systems (equipment handling, transport, network performance), and optimizing facility layouts, production lines, and machine operations. Will resolve production delays, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and train staff on new and existing processes. Collaborates with other engineers, contractors, and suppliers while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations and upgrading systems and processes with new technology.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering
- 2 years experience as a manufacturing engineer involving processes, fabrication methods, tool design, manufacturing equipment, and quality assurance techniques
