Job Summary
Process Engineer responsible for designing Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) using the Comos database tool. Prepare P&I drawings based on diagrams, schematics, piece parts, and equipment information; combine data from sketches, drawings, and blueprints to perform calculations; update and redraw P&IDs in connection with engineering change orders. Interpret data, instructions, and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality. Work independently to deliver P&I drawings that support engineering and product development projects, collaborating with process engineers across Valmet’s technologies on sales projects, customer orders, and development initiatives. Requires an engineering degree and 1–2 years of experience with Comos; strong written and spoken English; ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree
- 1–2 years of experience with Comos
- Experience with P&IDs and Comos database tool
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Interest in learning and problem-solving
