Job Summary
Process Engineer role focused on implementing and optimizing manufacturing processes to boost productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. Will lead process excellence initiatives, develop and refine process flows for CAPEX projects, set up improvements to existing production lines, monitor performance metrics, and ensure safety and environmental compliance. Responsibilities include driving process optimization, data collection/visualization, SOP development, training operators, and collaborating across Operations and Quality to support continuous improvement, with emphasis on safety, risk assessment (PHA/HAZOP), and adherence to ISO 9001/14001. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least ~2 years of production-experience; experience with optics manufacturing and process risk analyses are considered pluses.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline, or comparable skills, knowledge, and expertise gained through relevant work experience.
- Prefer minimum 2 years of experience in production environment.
- Technical competence in industrial processes involving chemical, physical, electrical, and mechanical steps.
- Experience with optics manufacturing is a plus.
- Experience in executing risk analysis (PHA, HAZOP) is a plus.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
